Donna Brazile, Gore's campaign manager, black female. She has "disappeared" now that things have gotten tough. Wonder why Gore doesn't have her out there pleading his case? Could it be she was just a token; someone about whom he could say he's a diversity type guy? Now he doesn't need her. Proves my point about Dems - symbolism over substance.

Hey SARGE,
I think she's hanging out with all of Gore's black lawyers.

She is still around as you can see from this quote from MSNBC:
And that is why on Monday night, a few hours after Leon County Circuit Judge N. Sanders Sauls rejected Gore’s bid for a hand recount of disputed Florida ballots, a heavy blow to his chances of becoming president, campaign manager Donna Brazile had an easy answer to a reporter’s question on Gore’s frame of mind. It is, she said, “stay and fight.”

There you have it three words of wisdom from Donna Brazile. It's like everything else. Blacks complained because they were not represented in Gore's inner circle, so he hired her to appease them.

I have also not seen much of Daley lately. He must be working behind the scenes (or under the table) to help Gore.

Bush's top lawyer is a Democrat. That speaks volumes.

It seems many people here have a low opinion of democrats. Seems their desired leader knows better.

Why would Bush pick a democrat to lead his defence. Seems it is because when you want the best you need to drop your prejudices. Score 1 for Bush - he would have lost if he picked an inferior banana republican.
