What do people think of Wis. governor Tommy Thompson as a Bush cabinet member?

It kind of shocked me, I had heard a lot of rumors about Tommy, none of them very good. In fact, some people who knew him personally had been telling me he seems to have the Clintonesque "pants-around-the-ankles" leadership quality, and that he flirts with practically everyone 14 or older.

I've never personally spoken to him, so I really don't know if these rumors are true or not, but that's what people have been telling me.

Opinions on Tommy?

I met him at a presentation at 3M a few years back. He seemed nice, but I don't care for some of his political views. He sees the need for the presence of government in to many areas for my taste.
