Well it never was his fault. It was Ken Starr's fault. And of course, those right wing fanatics made him do it.

Boom

Noice how well he timed it? His farewell speech last night and his getting off today. Just a day before Bush takes office. He'll do anything to keep the limelight on himself and see to it that we all know this, "Look at all the unlawful things I did and I got away with it.
Its beyond me that there are people that still support him.
Their morals are just as bottom of the barrel as his.

Carlgif: Your right what you just said. Nobody mentions
what a bad example he's been for the younger generation.
Sex that isn't sex....The word "is" that isn't is...it
just goes on and on. And then the press just twists every-thing. We're lucky America has survived for generations.

Carl, maybe I'm just older (natch) and remember the "good old days". I was late teens in 60's and things started going south then, or maybe I just paid more attention. When you consider 3 assasinations, the war, drug explosion, free love and the anti-establishment hysteria, it's a wonder we survived. Now we got liberals who have alot of talk and symbolism but little substance. All they have is ideas, the rest of us go to work, even the lawyers

Ken Starr for president

Then you would have morals in the whitehouse. But could you trust him to do the right thing for the people.

I would trust Ken Starr a whole lot more the Billy. Even if he didn't do a thing for the people.
I think its about time people started to do for themselves.

What would be the point of having a president that is morally acceptable but is actually just a figurehead. The point of electing the president is so that they will have a mandate from the people, to actually do something that will benefit those who voted for them.

Sorry kraken, you missed my point. I would rather have a president that didn't do anything then anyone like Clinton.
When a liberal president does something, its expensive, self-serving, doesn't accomplish anything, and its sole purpose is to buy votes.
We've had 8 years of Clinton. Education is worse, homeless are still there, military is in shambles.
Bush has got a tough job ahead of him. Rebuilding the military, cutting back on government paid abortion, and trying to get some values back into our schools.
Since you like scripture quotes, Jesus said "the poor you will always have with you". The liberals can come up with all the social plans it wants, but the poor will always be here.

"/but the poor will always be here./"

I wonder when the hispanics and blacks trapped in the inner city gettows and the whites trapped in remote trailor parks will realize that they have something in common.

Carlgif.

It matters not whether the poor are with us as it is a relative statement.

When I quote scriptures it is because I find that there is a relevence to them. The ten commandments are the best set of rules for people to get along by.

Most of the bible is rubbish except for those few pearls of wisdom (them which I chose)(YEP i AM WIDE OPEN).

What did Clinton do that was so reprehensable to the human race?

For those that believe that right?? is might, your wrong. Sensibilities thrown with a dash of optomism and owwwh okay, can do alot. Be not the judge but the convener of the truth.

It doesn't matter what you believe but what the world does.

It has now been revealed that the Clinton Administration left the white house trashed, desks turned over, filthy grafitti on the restroom walls, garbage strewn about, and computers vandalised. As if that wasn't eanough, they also stole 200 thousand dollars worth of property from the white house, and left air force one stripped.
What do all you Clinton supporters think of your hero now?

waverider,
This story gets more amazing everytime I hear it re-told. I haven't read ANYTHING about this off of a major news service so I'm withholding judgement until the facts are out. Right now it just sounds like one of these stories that's circulating on the net and get's more incredible as it's re-told.

I'm not saying all of this is untrue, but a lot of it sounds fishy to me.

been hearing it on the fox news channel for a couple of days now. this morning, they also reported that criminal action is probably going to be taken against the individuals that did this. something like a charge of destruction of federal property or somethign like that. the previous administration gave up the names of the people that did it right away. the same news report mentioned that mrs. gore called mrs. chenney to apologize because the vp office was really trashed.

All I've heard is that they're investigating possible vandalism and aren't releasing the specifics. Maybe all of it's true but I haven't heard any facts I can rely on yet. I'm hearing a lot of second hand information.
