It's not bad enough that we had 8 years of Clinton. It looks like his people have left behind another legacy.
"The Bush Administration has quietly launched an investigation into apparent acts of vandalism and destruction of federal property -- after incoming Bush staffers discover widespread sabotage of White House office equipment and lewd messages left behind by previous tenants!

Those allegations "IF TRUE" go way beyond a prank into the realm of vandalism.

Someone asked me if I thought that the office of president was a joke (if I didn't think much of it).
I don't think so but apparantly many Americans (US) do. |

So are there any other sources of this news story. A few words of text by drudgers hardly holds up to scrutiny. Anything on the evening newscasts over there, (theres been nothing here.) |

Kraken,
I tried posting earlier and the post timed out (Must be democrats messing with my connection). I did find this on MSNBC http://www.msnbc.com/news/521714.asp?0nm=N18N . Say what you want about Drudge but he has scooped a lot of stories. |

Of course, today everyone has the story. Here is what one newspaper said about it.
Reports of vandalism escalated yesterday after Matt Drudge posted an item on his Internet site titled "White House offices left 'trashed': Porn bombs, lewd messages." And while top Bush officials deflected questions, others in the White House confirmed the reports, which grew as the day went on. And my favorite comment about it all: White House vandalism is actually something new. Some of it--the purloined letters from the computers--was no doubt just silly. But some of it seems proof, yet again, that leaders consciously and unconsciously summon to their side, and work closely with, people who are like them. The Clintons were at heart vandals, tearers-down in many ways and on many levels. As George Stephanopoulos recently told Ted Koppel, the Clinton staff entered the White House without feeling enough respect. They were immature. They left as immature people would, upending trash cans, like rock stars without talent. |
