Access to threads with older username

Hello,

My username in the PCMech (Supporter/Premiere membership program) used to be Star-Com.
After the PCMech EDU was launched, i signed up as StarCom.
Now with the new deal i signed up for the Gold Membership as StarCom (same as in the PCMech EDU).
The problem is that with the username StarCom i have no access to all those threads i started as Star-Com.
Can this problem be sorted out?

I just changed your username for the Gold membership to Star-Com. Use that to log in now and confirm that your other username is working OK now. I have manually linked up your Gold profile with your OLD Star-Com profile.

What do you mean by other username ? You mean the StarCom?
Why should i confirm that the other username is working now; am i going to use that as well?

No, the username you just posted under (the one you have had in the forum for awhile) is now linked up to your Gold membership. You can continue to use the same profile you have been using since 2004.

Hi... similar problem.. when I paid to be a Silver member, I was changed from an 8 BIT Premier member (as cuzzzzz) to a 1 BIT member when I had to change my name (to cuzzzzzz). As above, I'll probably have the same problems as Star-com.
