System disk

I am building a computer and was checking a list of materials i will need. The system disk,does it come with the motherboard?I know what it is, and have actually used one in the past. I am not sure where to get one ,since I do not have one or know how to make or get one,could someone help me out.Sorry if this sounds lame,but I really don't know.Have all else I think!

Your motherboard will come with a CD of drivers for the chipset/LAN/sound/etc.

Your operating system CD is bootable, you don't need the setup floppies like in the old days.
