Question:Vista Service Pack 1
In February of this year I purchased an eMachines T5224. It came with Vista Home
Premium-32bit. My question has to do with SP1. When the service pack first came out I tried to down- load it, but, MS told me it was incompatible with the Sigma-Tel Audio Driver on my machine. Just this week-end, SP1 was downloaded to my computer, but, I did not install it. I have had a very hard time with MS trying to find out if they did a fix for the Sigma-Tel thing. They just tell me to install SP1 and see what happens. I'm not willing to have problems with a machine that runs beautifully, just to see "what happens". Any idea where I can get a better answer?? Thanks for any help. |

You can always uninstall the service pack if something happens.
