new mobo and removing heat sink
My new evga 680i sli will be here tomorrow, currently I'm trying to remove the Tuniq Tower 120 heat sink but I'm not sure how, any ideas? I took everything else off

What do you mean by 'took everything else off'? Do you mean the clips/pins that hold it in place?
If you haven't already, take the motherboard out of the case, it will be much easier to work with. Thermal paste can often form a bond with the top of the processor (especially if a fair amount has been used). Try twisting the heatsink as you take it off. Failing that, it might be worth running the computer for a while to heat up the paste, but if you've started disassembling the heatsink clips already, monitor the temperatures carefully in BIOS.

got it off, I meant the backplate and thermal paste on the top of the cpu
|
