More Memory

I have a HP 510N that has 510k memory. I am having problems with a DVD player for my PC. The movie plays but it sounds like the disc is dirty or something when the main feature is playing. When the coming attractions are playing it works perfectly. I have tried several movies and other players which all work perfectly. A screen comes up that states it cannot read the memory and a number. Is there a way I can add more memory or what can I do?

Take a look to see if the disc in smuded or scratched. Clean it off with a cotton coth (*not* a paper towel--that will scratch) and some isopropyl alcohol or windex.

I wrote that wrong. All the different movies did the same thing in my new DVD player. They sounded like they were skipping, but worked OK in other players is what I should of said. Thanks for the reply.
