Morning All
One of my kids spilt a can of Coke onto my fairly new Dell Inspiron and it is now pretty much screwed. Any suggestions as to repairs or Should I just scrap it and buy a new one? It is dead in the water!! Any info would be appreciated. george |

Talk to Dell's #1 Customer Service. I know it's not a PC but I bought a X360 game from Dell and it wouldn't work one day. I called it in and they sent me a new one. I got the game even before I sent the messed up one back.

It's a long shot now but this is the drill : shut down/unplug , dismantle as you can, rinse with distilled water (distilled is necessary) and let dry for several days.
The problem is not just that Coke is liquid but that it's also acidic and then there's the sugar, just bad news all around. Meanwhile make sure your kids learn that the only one who goes near your computer with anything liquid is you.
