Hi folks,
I have built a new PC using an ABIT ABPro A9 mainboard and it was working well until I added a second seagate sata HDD. I now get the mainboard error code Od I cannot find this error code listed on the mainboard printout and do not know what the problem is. In have tried booting without the second drive, but the error remains. Any help welcomed Thanks Clare |

You have one or more faulty ram modules, and you need a bios update. Remove all your ram, try one module at a time till it clears POST, then download the latest bios from Abit and update it.

Just to close the query, I carried out your suggestion and tested the individual sticks of RAM. I found one to be faulty, i.e. did not post. Over the weekend I returned the suspect RAM to my supplier, who confirmed the error on his test. I am now waiting for a replacement from the USA.
Many thanks for your help Clare
