What is Member (8 bit) that is under our name? I notice some have different numbers or just a saying, I can't seem to find anything on it.

Corresponds to post count - think binary................
The ones with a saying have a custom user title. Premiere members may use one, as may regular members with 1024+ posts. |

It's basically a User Title. The default with a fresh vbulletin is Newbie, Lot Lizard, Pro, Zealot & Maniac. As glc stated it corresponds to your post count.
