Angry Problems i can live with but!

My computer is a desk top I built myself 1 year ago. 2.67 gigahertz Intel Pentium D. 160 Gigabytes Hard Drive. 1504 Megabytes Installed Memory. The operating system is a Valid Windows XP Professional CD I purchased and installed originally on this system.

This is my problem description:
I repair installed windows XP! I made sure that the current installation of Windows XP was selected, and then I pressed R to repair Windows XP using my original Windows XP CD. The install went good all of my programs remained intact. BUT 2 things changed!

1. I lost stand by. I can't use my APC Powes Chute Bachup battery to go into hybernation!

2. When I right click an Icon I get a send to box that use to say I could put an Icon on my desk top. Now that option is not in the send to box. I can't move my icon's to the desk top the way I use to?

How can I change these 2 functions back to the way they were before I reinstalled Windows XP?
Operating System: WindowsXP

1. You need to reinstall your motherboard chipset drivers and your APC software.
