i think i am infected
hey there i recently noticed that when i am connected to the internet and i am using my browser flock, well internet exlplorer just starts to keep opening new windows over and over again. this might be spyware. how do i get rid of this. can someone help me and suggest programs. thanks!!!

Download the free version of malwarebytes, boot to safe mode a run a scan.

Running Mbam in Safe mode (with networking so you can update it) prevents some of the nasties from running in normal startup. Some folks prefer to run all Anti-products in Safe mode but others of us only do it with Mbam, then reboot and run the latest version of Spybot-Search and Destroy and another scan with your Anti virus (I use AVG Free v. 8.5).

okay i was able to solve the problem by running spyweeper but i now have another problem. whenever i start my machine is get a run dll error msg that says that some file in C:/windows/System is missing. How do i solve this. I think i was using registry mechanic and then after i got this msg!!!

First you can try a system restore, if that doesn't work, you can download the dll file you need from here and place it in the system32 folder. http://www.dll-files.com/
