UniBlue Reg Scan
I noticed the ad above regarding this prog that promises the world in a reg scan. Anyone actually pay for it? Does it work, is it worth it or is it just another run of the mill?

I hate to bite the hand that feeds me, but there are free registry cleaners that work fine. I use CCleaner.
Are you getting sick of the TV ads for finallyfast.com? I finally did the free scan, and it is nothing but a registry cleaner. It didn't find anything that CCleaner didn't. That ad is pathetic. |

Yeah I too have seen those ads. It is SO LAME! I use CCleaner too. I think it is funny how UniBlue or W/E found 234 Reg errors in my XP machine, yet it runs fine considering it only has 256 megs of RAM. It even plays the WOW trial game. It has some pauses, but all things considered and it is an older machine with an older onboard gpu. I think that it is a bunch of BS that I have 234 reg errors.

Uniblue
I bought Uni Blue about 2 years ago.Im not convinced that it does any good for the money that it costs.Im suspecious of registry cleaners that charge.I dont see a lot of difference when using this software. And now Ive got a problem with my Outlook express.I think CClearnere at no charge does the same as UniBlue. What Im discovering with most software packages they over promise and under deliever.
