How about the Bugatti Veyron, it produces up to 1,001 hp.

Custom '39 Lincoln
Gorgeous '05 Mustang
Actually, now that I think about it, I'd be happy with about half of the cars on that site. I live right by one of their show room/auction houses, and have learned recently that I should not be able to drive down the road that they're on. For about half a mile, the last thing I'm looking at is the road.

Well its funny you should say this, because my favourite deck...
I was thinking the same. I've got a few laughs from this thread, amazing how amusing something so simple is
And the Veyron is ugly as sin, get it out of my face. Nothing will ever touch a Porsche for magnificence

As for eariler questions, the GTO has 6 liters, develops about 400 horsepower. And - honestly, does anyone know if the Veyron will EVEN come out. I mean, first of all, they had trouble developing a chassis that could even HANDLE that much horsepower...then it came out there were no such brakes...and now...no tire maker in the world...has adequate tires...its such a laugh.
Porsche - yeah...unequaled. People like to preach Ferrari - honestly for the price, and the engines that it puts out, it has no competition. I mean, its always been these V-6's. They have a V-10 as well, but the majority has always been a six cylinder. And they are beautiful too in their own way.

I dunno why everyone loves the new Mustang so much... when they intro'd the concept car.. they had it right... it looked like a 69 Mach 1... then they pulled off all the trim, raised the ride height, raised the roof, decreased the slope on the rear window.... totally butchered it.

Is that a picture of one of the real aircraft, or just one made for the cbc movie about the plane?

Taking a guess on this one, no google searching, 1967 Shelby GT?
I like that car, but drool over the 1968 Shelby AC Cobra.

Personally, I just love it because it's a definite step in the right direction. After the 70s, IMHO the mustang got uglier and uglier. With this new incarnation, it's back to being a gorgeous machine again. It has enough of the styling of the late '60s models to look like a mustang, but has more modern lines and a mean look. Of course, I would take a '65 over it any day of the week.

That would be the full sized model they had built for the movie.

Step in the right direction when they had it right the first time... the only thing that looks like the old Mustang anymore is the grill and headlights... in the concept, they had it looking like a 69.

They should have used the original 1971/73 Mustang to make the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds. My guess is it wouldn't have sold as well as the current wanna be Elenor.

Yes, but the Aston Martin build quality has gone to the dogs, so I still wouldn't buy one

I'll have mine in spring '06:
Link to pic
acura integra (98-01) (btw htats not the exact one im buying, just the general idea)
I havent decided on GS or GS-r yet, and am also considering the type-R. Unfortunately, availability is prolly gunna decide this for me, though im leaning towards GS because the GS-r and type R's both take premium gas, and also because id rather save some money on the car itself to use towards parts. Ill post some pics when i get it.

This is my current ride
And this is something like what I plan to build next. It's a beautiful car with a very clean look. Notice the door handles are missing and actuators are used to open instead.
Someday I'd like to have a 'vert also.
Did I mentioned I'm a Mustang fan!?!?

This one's not too bad The Grand Master by Foosehttp://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=11/31514401767.jpg&s=x2
|
That looks a lot like the one Boyd Coddington and his crew did for Christopher Titus. Are you sure that's a Foose car?

He claims to have built and its on his website. I know he worked for Coddington before so perhaps it was "inspired" by something they did together. I just think its a beautiful car and if I wanted a one of a kind car i'd go to foose.

Yup, there have been a number of Boyds employees move over to Foose....prolly see many rods looking similar with Foose getting a little better quality work now. They both do nice work, but I've seen a few things on both shows that make me scratch my head, but I also realize the shows and the projects are on a tight deadline.

I'd be very against the deadlines too. The way their always under so much pressure, you have to wonder how good the quality really is and what kind of rush work is done "off camera". I think the fact that their on TV makes the product and quality much lower, which is sad since that's the point of these shows.
Boyd is a hothead, which I can't stand, but I like his classic designs. Foose seems to be getting too bling bling/ricer these days. Next thing you know he'll be guest-hosting "pimp my ride". (which I admit to watching just because it can be funny and the obvious pre-scripted brain-storming sessions are ridiculous)

I got a good collection of pics here from Trax 2005 (a UK modified car show I attended)
PerformanceXtreme.com TRAX Gallery
Be warned though...The Hotties gallery is probably not work-safe to view (but is clean).
I wouldnt have minded getting a Subaru Imprezzea but simply cant afford it, although i love the sound of a flat-four
