I tried one brand....didn't work at all. I couldn't get it to print clean...always had white lines running thru. I cleaned and cleaned the heads....and ended up wasting most of the refilled ink. But hey, there are other brands.

It's a case of experimenting. I sell these kits and for the most part find most people are quite happy with them. I refill my black Lexmark, but cannot be bothered with the hassle of doing the colour cartridge. The HP 800 and 600 series are very easy to do and I haven't had any returns on refill kits for them. Epsons seem OK, but a lot of people seem to have problems with refilling Canon's, so I don't recommend it.

Buy far the best refill kit is available from http://www.fillmoreinkjetkits.com/
It comes with four (black, cyan, yellow, magenta) 5oz bottles of ink , instructions for your brand of cartridges, tool, screws if needed, and injectors. It is a little pricy intially but the amount and quality of the product is the best out there.

I've had one experience with it (Epson 740) and it didn't work too well. The colors came out wrong, were faded, and didn't last that long.
