AT in ATX ?

Can the AT PSU fit into the ATX case ?
Can the motherboard go into position (connectors, standoffs) ?
Can the start, reset, be compatible ?
HDD, FDD LEDS, etc etc ?
Anyone with this experience ?
Degree of difficulty ?

Yes, an AT power supply will go into an ATX case. You just have to remove the ATX style power switch and bolt in the switch that comes of the AT power supply.

Yes, an AT motherboard will drop right into an ATX case. All the connectors (HDD, Power, reset, etc) are the same.

No more difficult than installing an ATX board.

Cool

HAL wouldn't the backplane of the case need to be changed if using a AT board in an ATX case because of the keyboard connector?

Yup... or if need be, you could just leave it open. AT style backplates are available for ATX cases.
