Exclamation Weird beep sounds when scrolling volume button of WMP9

Whenever I use WMP9 I get this beep sounds, and the higher I increase the volume-the higher the sound. Has nothing to do when I move the volume up or down when there is nothing playing. Does anyone suffer the same problem? Or is this a speaker problem? I am using a creative card-5.1-built on a msi granite bay motherboard. How to get rid of this beeping sound?
