Has anybody had any experience with BusLink DVD burners?

Buslink is a reboxer - it all depends who made it. I've seen good Buslink drives, but I've also seen rotten ones.

I had an external buslink DVD player that I converted to an internal. It was a noname driver made in china. I never had any problems with it though, but I never got the rebate from buslink that I was supposed to and it has been a few years now.

Not sure if they are all Lite-on drives but the second one is also.

They are currently on sale at Staples for $99.98 with a $20 rebate.

What a surprise Staples is cheaper then NewEgg for retail box.

The price I quoted was before the rebate.
