Why is it....
Seems like every nite about 12:20 to 12:30 am, ET this site hits some major delays. Does it have to do with server maintenance or some problem? We seem to get quite a few impatient posters that think clicking their post key mulitiple times will speed it up.
 Any fix for this problem?

Just be patient - we are doing upgrades and addressing the problems.
Do note that the forums are down every night at 2:30am ET for about 5 minutes for backups. The fix is to keep telling people to click the Post button only ONCE. |

Figured you guys were working on it. Just wanted to be sure and hopefully pass the "one push" message to others. I've seen several other forum sites using the new version of VBulletin. Is that in the works too?

Yes, but that has to be coordinated with other projects running on the server for compatibility reasons.
