you can change what threads you want to receive emails from in the user control panel. or just don't select email notification when you post.

My guess is that you have "Recieve Email Notification By Default" turned on, so that everytime you respond to a thread, you will get an email when the thread is posted in again.

I've had the same problem. I want notifications, just not 15 per day per thread
![]() I talked to Dok on IRC about it, but he is kinda busy with the upgrade now, so i'm not complaining too much. Its minor for me because i have a pcmech folder and all mail from the 'mech is forwarded there, so i just "check all" and delete.

You could try doing one of those "1 email per day" things, but I know what you mean. I do get double emails sometimes for the posts I participate in. I like getting the notifications because I sometimes need to continue my responses, but getting two or more emails without having responded floods my inbox. Its not so bad though. I can just delete the double ones...lol...

Also on a relevant topic, PC Mech forums announced that it's going to turn on a required email verification effective this Wednesday. For those of you who input an imaginary email addres, you might want to check it out:

I just sent a PM to ensure that if you need to do anything if you already have a valid email address, jsut makin g sure you don't need to somehow verify it again. Although I don't think you do.
