just want to thank pcmech for general awesomeness
hi all
pcmech is truly a great site. My self taught computer literacy and hardware knowledge could not have happened without pcmech. you helped me go from confusing the system tray with the heatsink 2 years ago to now being relied on for tech support at my jobs. I recently helped design a new build for someone who 2 years ago always intimidated me with his tech know-how; today he turns to me with questions. the emphasis on being newbie friendly, and having no question be treated like a stupid question really made it possible for me to ask for assistance here without hesitation and slowly build my computer confidence. It's rare in the computer world to find such acceptance and non-judgement, and your enforcement of this has really succeeded in creating a gem of a community. So I just wanted to appreciate everyone who makes the site happen. It gives me more faith in humanity's ability to support each other using mutual aid. regards rd |
