Lightbulb Distributed Computing Forum Subtitle

Maybe I should've just posted this in the DC Forum, but I've got a question/request...

The subtitle states, "Home of all things Distributed. Cover all of the Distributed Computing Efforts Here." Instead of repeating Distributed, could one of the lines be changed to mention the Folding@Home Team?

I think Dris said at one time the Forums wouldn't back F@H officially, but as a service, wouldn't adding F@H into the subtitle help direct traffic a bit?

Maybe change it to, "Cover all of the Distributed Computing Efforts Here. Home of PCMech's SETI and Folding@Home Teams."

Thoughts? Thanks!

It's generic for a reason. We do not wish to publicize any particular projects over others.

I understand, and it makes sense for the Forums to stay neutral regarding something like that. I guess I bring it up mostly because many people don't even know what Distributed Computing means, or that SETI and F@H (and whatever else may be out there) are DC projects.

It wouldn't be that PCMech was publicizing or endorsing a particular project. I was thinking more along the lines of it being a road sign to point them in the proper direction. Kinda like Linux and UNIX are sub-listed as Alternative Operating Systems, or that C++ and Visual Basic are Programming Apps. Thanks again,

Scott
