open new window
I would like it when you view a thread to open a separate window and be able to just close the window rather than using the back option...thanks ...GaryD

You have that option by right clicking on the link, select open in new window.

Another option is shift-click - hold down the "SHIFT" key on your keyboard and click on the link to open the target in a new window.

another option is to use firefox and have yur middle click button assigened to open a new tab which is basically the same as a window but at the top of the screen instead of at the bottom :P or you minght be able to make it open a new window anyway, not sure
