It looks as if Dr. Z has finally pulled the plug on the site

Maybe someone else will come along and start another one someday.

I didn't realize it was shut down.
I could be persuaded to maintain a page... I should probably get some feedback though to see if I'm even allowed. I have a bit of webspace I could use and creating/maintaining the page isn't too hard. I just have to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes!

Any Mods with comments/concerns?

Try sending a PM to Doc (M. A. Dockter) or one of the mods.

Thanks for stepping up and offering to host a members pic page! I just want to make a few suggestions if you do this:
1. post only real pictures, if it's not a real picture don't post it, this includes Hal I suppose Hal could even use his "Wilson" type photo's
2. Set a file size limit
3. Try to have someone lined up to take over or mirror the page in the event you move on or don't have time to manage the page so the remaining and new members won't have to go through this again.

Heck a few ads on the page won't bother me if you want to have some on the page as well.

Absolutely Jimmy,
I will start up a thread with some guidelines and an address where members can send their pics. I've actually created the page already (that's what I do all day, so it didn't take long ) and everything is ready to go. I just wanted to get a "go ahead" from one of the Mods to make sure I'm not doing anything inapropriate. I've PM'd M. A. Dockter but haven't heard back (I would imagine that he is a rather busy guy!).

Maybe I should just go ahead and start it up and see what happens. If there was a photos page before, I can't see the harm in setting one up again.

I'm no mod, but I doubt they'd be angry if you set up this page. The worst thing they'd probably make you do would be take it down, and they probably wouldn't.

There have been 2 such photo pages in the past so I really don't think it a total no-no so long as it done in a tasteful fashion, but I don't blame Stryker for getting the OK first. It just sux having to start all over again.

Just let us know when and if it's ready, I've got mine waiting

Thanks guys!
Got a PM back and Doc is chatting it over with the administration now. He will let me know what's going on once they decide how to handle it. Everything is pretty much ready to go, I just need the a-o-k.

I posted what members could do to get a picture of me now... seems with the exception of a generous handful, that isn't gonna happen tho.
