Little Message - Big Difference

Hiya folks,

I notice so many threads where someone asks a question about their system and fails to give enough detail about their system. It may be helpful to have a small note right under the "Submit New Thread" button (or other prominent place) reminding people to post their specs to get a better response.

Seems like a pretty simple thing, but it could save members (those asking the questions, as well as those responding) some trouble. Take a look at my fancy example attached if you would like to see my simple take on it.

Thanks,
Stryker

Am I imagining things, or did I see a similar message had been incorporated a few days ago into the Advanced reply page? It's not there any longer, but...

From what I've seen, I think it's only on the "New Thread" page. I may have just missed it thought.

You are correct Stryker. Only on the New Thread. My compliments, btw. Nice idea.

Again, I think there is a typo in the message. I don't mean to be a snob, but want to make PC-Mech look good. I believe the message says. "...This will great assist in...". I think it should say: "...this will greatLY assist...". Maybe not. Things like that bother me, though.

Good eye catacon! Nothing snob-ish about it. Better to mention it than to ignore it.
