I do not see any - do you mean banner ads, pop ups, or AdWords?

Except for the banners, I don't see any. Just an occansional pop-up. Though the annoying green links are annoying, but a very small proce to pay.

Doesn't happen here - maybe you need to check your popup blocker and scan for spyware. If it is coming from here, sorry about that, we gotta pay the bills somehow.

Someone else has had the same issue in the past: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=128409
At first, I thought this was a thread brought back from the dead because it was so similar.

great, I see that I am not the only one, my blocker is working good, and almost everytime I miminzie the window to the task bar, the add will be there, I delete it and open the pcmech window, it may hapen 2 or 3 times while I am on pcm, I do hear the click when it comes on in the background every time.
but I am not complaining about them if they are for paying for this site |

It's a non-issue for me. No pop-ups, just the Mech.

Have to face it guys, a site like this costs money even if you factor out the server costs, imagine the bandwidth or even the forum software (vbulletin is not free).

o yeah, i can imagine. I have no problem it was just relatively new and was curious if this was because of PCmech or it was just a random pop-up. good to see that you guys are payin the bills!!
