Open Source / Free Software Forum
How about a place to specifically discuss open source software? Seems there are always a lot of posts by people looking for a free peice of software to do "X".
Alternatively it could possibly be used as a recruiting ground for open source projects people are working on. Thoughts? |

In case you're interested, there's a Freeware Frenzy column from PC Mech's homepage where Alaron writes a review every week on useful freeware.

This can adequately be covered in the General Software forum. We do not want a bunch of totally specialized forums here - it's confusing enough with what we have trying to figure out which forum to post something in. Thank you for your input.
