Finding Your Posts?
Being new to this forum, I am not familiar with the way this particular software works: When you return to the forum, is there a quick and simple way to find the posts you've made previously other than having to use the "Search" button and lookup using "Search by User Name" option? (Some other Forum software have a "View your posts" link.)
Thanks, Robert. |

In the lower right corner is a drop-down menu labeled Forum Jump. Hitting the arrow gives a list of all destinations here. Third from the top is Subscriptions, which will list every thread you've posted within, starting with the most recent.

That wroks provided you subscribe to the thread.
I use the search feature. Using browser Bookmarks/Favorites works well too.

This forum software has "View username posts" feature as well, click on your username (located to the left of your post), a popup will appear, select "Find More Posts by robc638".

Ah, I assumed subscribing to threads in which you post was the default.
Well, in UserCP, under Edit Options, it says Quote:

I updated my "User CP" Options for Subscribed Threads; I'll see how it works and ask for more advice if it drives me nuts

Clicking on someone's screen does allow you to search all their previous posts. However, sometimes you just want to see the threads they (our you) have started. In this case, select the "View Public Profile" option and there you will find an option to view all threads started by that user. If you post a lot, the subscribed threads option can dump a LOT of notices in your email - and they don't always come in a timely fashion. I prefer to use the New Posts search when I come on and look for threads that have a check mark on them. That idicates threads I have posted in that have new posts since my last post.
