Question Unanswered Posts Link

It would be pretty neat to have an "Unanswered Posts" link along the top which shows all threads without a reply.

http://www.ubuntuforums.org/ has it (under Search) and it works really well. I notice they use the same message board package as PC Mech.

Not to revive an old post, I still think this would be a worthy addition.

I think it would be a great idea - because I feel bad for those who have their posts overlooked mistakenly as well.

Might consider helping the threads in question with a:

bump

Guessing they'd need to be at least 24 hours old old before bumping.

Agreed. I, typically, pay more attention to posts with 0 replies.

Yes, but it shows the thread has having a reply, 0 replies catches my attention more. This might be just me though.

I'll see if there is a plug-in or something for vBulletin that can provide this.

It's just a link.

should work. I think that you can add that to the quick links and you are set.

Works perfectly.
Is this something I can add to the Quick Links or must it be done on the admin side?

Drisley will have to edit the template a smidge to get it on the quick links.

Can you reduce the number of threads displayed? clicking on the link brings up twenty pages going back six months.

Just checked out this link & was surprised at all the unanswered posts. Out of all the "dumb" & ignorant posts I have made None have gone unanswered. I didn't ( & still don't) understand all of the answers but I was answered.

Thanks to all you polite & attentive folks on these forums. RevCLB

You would have to do an advanced search for that. Under Advanced Search, Find Threads with At Most 0 replies, put in date parameters and/or a particular forum.
