Parts list for building a PC?
This isn't really a suggestion but can be later.. anyway here it goes
I'm planning to build my own computer and it will be my first. I saw your PC biulding guide and its pretty cool. I was just wondering if there was a complete list of important parts that you need to get a custom PC up and running. I know parts are pratically limitless but I would like to see a quick "must have" list to get a computer going, and maybe a list of parts/acessories that you dont necessarilly need, but would trick out your PC. I did a google search on building PCs but they dont really list the parts needed up front. Thanx. |

here's something:
http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=130280 Or are you talking about specific parts? It'd be kinda hard to keep a specific parts list up to date with technology changing everyweek and prices changing etc

Post in the BYOPC forum and list what you want to do with the computer, what your budget is, and any part/technology preferences (ie, SLI vs CrossFire).
They should be able to help you in there quite satisfactorily.
