Thank you tab
Dont know if this has been suggested before, but on some other forums i have seen, there is an option to click a "Thank you" tab . I suppose its a quick way of showing your appreciation for someones post , or for any help they have given. You can still always add your comments . I think its a nice touch and would welcome it here .

Not so new

Yes - this seems very similar to the idea of reputation level on some other forums. Honestly I disagree with reputation levels because they can be abused.

The other issue I can see is that there are some very knowledgable folks on this forum that don't post that often anymore (school, work, etc)...they may not get a very high rep level cause they don't post that much but may be more knowledgable than someone who posts a lot more...

I passed this suggestion on to the other Moderator staff, and we believe that our current system is working well.
Thank you for the suggestion though, we like to see new ideas.
