VGA Charts Sticky

There are a lot of "which card is better" questions posted in the Video, Audio, and Multimedia forum. Tom's Hardware has made their VGA Chart even better by allowing the user to select 2 cards, choose a bench/game, and see the results. Their should also be a note stating that users should select an actual GAME for there comparisons as opposed to 3DMARK since 3DMARK doesn't generally reflect actual game play.

Indeed. Can't forget that... though I did for some reason.

Really? That's kinda crappy. I've used the VGA Charts for some time as a reference.... that's some disturbing news.

Interesting. What ever happened with their whole thing about being biased towards Intel? or bloating some CPU benchmarks? I searched the net and found little things here and their but at the moment i dont have much more then hearsay.

Pff... hater

I did a quick search and came up with THIS thread that says something about THG flaming A64 for no good reason. It links to an article on THG but the link returns a 404 message. Please note that this thread is pretty darn old.

But wait... there's more...

The next one I found, HERE, claims that THG is in "AMD's Pockets". This thread is new too.

I guess your not alone FLG. Never the less... I'll continue using both the VGA and CPU Charts on THG.

It defaults to about the only test that AMD comes out top.
Huh?? What's that got to do with anything? Itunes happens to be a very popular item...one processor winning by one second isn't exactly a major win. I think these bashing discussions are pretty funny at times. Anyways, a bunch of numbers don't reflect any bias (unless you flat out lie and I don't think any respectable site would do that) and the charts are a very useful tool.

Hmm, I thought there sarcasm in there too. Oh wells.

Anyways, I haven't come across those charts before although I'll keep them in mind for the future. While I don't think it should be stickied all by itself, maybe it should be included somewhere.
