PC Mech Policiy

GLC:

I understand that you have policies in place which govern the contribution of threads in PC Mech. Unfortunately, I'm still experiencing the same problem. I tried to look for my original thread to continue with the discussion however I couldn't find it. I am also in discussion with Microsoft and Asus people regarding the problem. I sense some frustration in some of the replies so I guess if there is no viable solution to the problem plus the fact that I am no longer allowed neither to submit or refer to another thread for the same - what do I want for free.

This? http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=193087

Just look in your user profile and look for threads started by you, and you'll see all of your threads come up.

It looks like glc closed your other thread because it was concerning the same issue you were discussing in another thread. The reason for not allowing multiple threads on the same topic is because it gets quite confusing very quickly, often resulting in repeating intructions, questions, suggestions, etc. between the threads. It makes it hard for people trying to help (as well as the person looking for help) to keep track of what's going on.

If you cannot find your original thread, simply use the Search function (go advanced), and search for all threads started by you. Our policy here is we ask members to keep everything in a single thread till the issue is resolved, and please do not piggyback onto other members' threads. Only start new threads for different or new issues.

You can also subscribe to threads you want to keep an eye on. Subscribed threads will always be available through your user control panel, and you can get automated e-mails sent to you whenever anyone replies.

I apologize if you feel dumped on, but we must have this "one issue one thread" policy to maintain the integrity of assistance here, and we don't feel it's asking too much for members to use the features available in the forum software to keep track of their threads.

Now, back to your issue. I have suggested that you reinstall the motherboard chipset drivers - and have not seen any acknowledgement to this. Please comment on this in your ORIGINAL thread, and let's keep the idea exchange going - in THAT thread. If you don't understand, I'll be happy to clarify - in THAT thread. This is how forums work.
