What's up with the full page ads?

Just started getting full page ads when going into new sections of the forums. The ads have a skip button on the bottom but what a pain!
What's up with this?

Let me know where the ads are coming from (if you can tell). I actually don't want any full-page ads here in the forums and need to find out where they are coming from so I can shut them down. Thanks.

I've seen a full page ad from Symantec 3 or 4 times today. Will grab a screen shot next time.

I've been getting the full page ads as well. The text in the picture is fuzzy, but the URL is the same as above.

Any updates on the full page ads? I still seem to get them pretty often.

I'm still getting the exact same type; maybe wouldn't be so bad if they were changing.

I just had a netflix one on the System Security forum. I can'[t recall which other ads I have seen because I took it that it was a way to make extra money here and they were legit.

I must say, I haven't had a single full page ad.

Running linux mint both with and without ad blocker, and running ie7 on vista.

The ads come randomly before I click on anything on the site. Even when I click to PM someone, it would pop up a full page ad. Anywhere from PM to viewing a subsection. Getting a little annoying

I am about to ditch one of the ad networks and I *think* the full-page ads may be coming from there. So, we shall see guys.

Hey, what company is being advertised in this full-page ad? I need to try to figure out where it is coming from.

EDIT: I've got an email in with the main company I use for ads to see if it is coming from them. I don't believe Adsense even does full-page ads, so I'm not worried about them.

I think I have figured out where these full-page ads are coming from and I have put in a filter to block them. Let me know if you continue to see them.
