Watering hole

Maybe there should be a better understanding of what the watering hole is. I thought it was for hot topics. I have seen a few topics there that seem to fit better in the other one. It doesn't matter to me so much as I would have read them either place. However, it seems that some might want to avoid the watering hole and miss them or possibly just want to see the hot topics (probably not as likely). It is not a big deal, but maybe it would help those people who unlike myself might not visit one of the two forums.

Good point...maybe my chicken egg thread needs to be moved to General Discussion since it is not political or religious.....but maybe controversial if you think it somehow relates to card counting.

If in doubt, use the Watering Hole. That way, if people WANT to get political, it won't be a problem.

Rest assured that if we see anything in GD that's starting to flirt with the rules, it WILL be moved into the Watering Hole without a redirect. However, we aren't going to move anything OUT of the Watering Hole to GD.

Ok, I get it now. Thanks for clarifying what the Watering Hole is about.

Why the name?... Watering Hole

It's where animals go to drink and socialize.
