On the forum (i.e. Aordiel)? I believe a mod can take care of that for you, but they have to do it.

Yes I think its the forum membership? I don't know of any other accounts I can have on here.

Which moderator should I start to email?

Are you a moderator?

Look, I can explain why I want to do this. Its simply that I don't use my account if you review my records you will notice I haven't used it anymore then maybe 6 times in the last maybe 3 years... I just don't want to keep an account I don't really use is all.

If you need to keep my account I guess that's fine, I was hoping to just delete the account though.

If there is anything I can provide like my email address I used to create my PC Mech forum account or PC Mech account let me know I am more then happy to supply that to the proper people. I can also give my password if need be to verify my identity.

I'm the administrator. Sorry, but we do not delete accounts that have any posts made from them. You have 22 posts. If you feel you have a security issue, you may send me a private message and we can do something about that.

Oh trust me those posts of mine were not anything special. Is there a way you can preserve my posts but delete my user profile perhaps?

Why don't YOU go into your user profile and edit it? All you'd have to do is put an 'N/A' or 'void' in the fields you initially completed and all your references are out of there.

I would like to do that? But there is no option to delete my account. Its not like I am asking someone else to do something I don't want to do. Belive me I am more then happy to delete my account, just give me a button and I'll do it. I'll even call up or write a letter if I have to do that much work to I guess wow lol

Correct, there is no option for you to delete your account.

Just put a bunch of null information in your user profile...like a few random letters. Nobody will know your real identity, except the owner of the forum and the Forum Administrator, and they already have that information from when you created the account.

Who cares about a pseudo name in PCMech called Arodiel? Nobody knows who that person is. No offense, but I think you are being perhaps not quite paranoid but overly concerned over nothing.

No I simply feel everyone should have the control over deleting their account.

Nothing wrong with this.
