Rankings
I was wondering when the ranking system changed for members, and where can I find more info about it. I also wanted to say that I preferred the University style ranking over the new bit ranking. Go PCMU PCMechanic University.

The announcement was posted at the top of every forum for 30 days - so it was more than 30 days ago. It's how many bits it would take to express your post count in binary.

I dont like the new system but the number of posts doesnt get me excited like some people. I dont understand why people are so worried about when the reach 1000 posts or whatever.

Now the magic number is 1024. It's when you get to make up your own title and use a custome avatar.
