Search Entry Box

The new layout is nice but it sure was handy to have the search box available on each page instead of having to follow a separate link to a search page.

Whoa! I did a double take when I typed in the address. I thought I went to the wrong site.

I don't know if you can do anything about it, but the ad on the top is huge! 728 x 90

Is there some way to put an 800 X 200 search button on PC Mech so that we can put a stop to repeated questions? Maybe a popup window before the new thread is submitted asking if the user would rather do a search instead of asking a question for the 1000th time.

Well I guess it’s not going to kill me to read the same old questions over and over then.

I know maybe someone will have a better answer next time….Yeah I think I’ll just keep telling myself that.
