Unsolicited Commercial
Like many of you, I've been visiting PC Mech daily for quite a few months now. A friend turned me on to this wealth of knowledge and I thoroughly enjoy the articulate exchange of technical knowledge people offer up. I noticed the home page of PC Mech when I first came here, but when I added this site to my favorites, the link was to the Forum page. Recently, I went back to The Mech home page and looked around. I had forgotten about the CD rom that is available and when I rediscovered it, I made a decision right then to order a copy. Well folks, I'm here to tell you, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COPY OF THIS CD, YOU ARE MISSING OUT, BIG TIME!! What a great value for $20!! There is a huge amount of info and free software on this CD. I think anyone who visits The Mech and has any technical inclination regarding computers needs to buy a copy. You won't be sorry. And I bet Dris and the staff could put the extra finances to good use. BUY ONE TODAY!!!
(or drop and give me 20!)

You're welcome for the comments. However, the BIG thank you has to go to you and your "staff" for making this site available. It's great when people are willing to share their knowledge with others rather than view everybody else as a competitior trying to "steal" their smarts. My barber just asked me to mentor her 13 year old son on computer assembly and function cuz he wants to build his own. Me thinks the PC Mech CD "how to.." will be followed shortly by an intro to reading the forums! Thanx again, Dris, for all you guys do.
