Hey folks, how about filling in your location in your profile. Its nice to know where the other people are that you are chatting with. Don't you want that warm and fuzzy feeling. It also makes the Buy/Sell section of the forum easier to deal with. What I mean is its easier to buy from a person in your own city, just go over and pick up the treasure. Where as if the person lives out of town or in an other country, when you add in the shipping, duties and customs charges the deal is not as sweet.

Good idea, Bug, cuz if anyone was to just look at your avatar, they'd swear you were in the good ol' USA! Locations listed add another dimension to the worldlyness (is that a word?!) of The Mech

It's nice to know right away were a member is from. However some members do like their privacy, that's why they leave that field blank.

Privacy is fine and very understandable, but when you are asking for advice on parts and where to buy them, it helps to at least have your country visible.

Agreed, at least list your country. After spending an hour researching pricing on parts in US$, only to find out the user is from Sri Lanka, or Lower Slobovia, doesn't help much.

Yeah that is really a pain when you are trying to help people stay within a budget only to find out that they are from accross the pond.
