Information Databases Searching

I keep on coming back to PC mech for help. Firstly I find the tone of answers very courteous and there seem to be few techno nazi's. Generally I find that people are extremely helpful and the quality of information is quite superb.
However, what this site could benefit from is a more clinical approach to postings. Although you should be able to post your own thread using your own language and of course you can search but given the amount of the information I'd suggest the following.
Either people are more logical in their subject heading or better still the site could use drop down headings (Type of problem, OS, hardware used, other topics) that way it would be far easier to find and answer threads. Of course the threads are already put into sections but I think drop down lists would improve matters.
