New builds

Has anyone mentioned the addition of new builds? Everytime i visit the site, at least once i see "new build" or the related. Building your own computer will go on for a long time until the prebuilders take us BYOC people over!

On the main site - www.pcmech.com - in the left sidebar, see the Build Your Own PC graphic? It's right on top, above the Search box and under the Crucial ad. You can also access it from the Quick Nav box - choose Build Your Own.

That's a very nice article there... too bad i didn't build it according to that!! Thanks glc. Though what I meant was the people that want suggestions for new builds and have a hard time deciding between components that confuse newcomers to the subject of building.

Do you mean a guide to show how to compare specs of different parts? That would be a good way to avoid being accused of "promoting" a particular manufacturer.

pretty much, yeah. Many people do not know what the heck some things mean when they purchase items.
