Hello I thought that A new sectionfor guys like me called new members would be cool where we could say things like HI I am Wayne live in Bridgewater Mass and want to experiencethe pain and pleasure of doing it on my own startting from the Case I want do do just that and found this sight would be able to help me do just that without the salesman hype etc etc etc I shoot lots of Photography picturesand joined PHOTOTAKERS I learned a lot got great Ideas on what to but or trade aand I figure you folks can help me build a cheap but fast computer that I could add on to later as I obtain funds etc. TY Wayne

when I start this project is there a is there a decent Book to buy? such as "The Dummies" series of books I had one of those for photography and it had a lot of useful information in it. i don't want to start and have a bunch of parts and go what now ?

Your last question doesn't seem to have anything to do with your initial question. The logic of the forums is one question per thread, then answers and discussion of that particular question follows.
When you have a new question, then you open a different thread for it in the appropriate forum. The most appropriate forum for your last question would be General Discussion.

Exactly. This particular forum is for suggestions to the management for changes and improvements to the forum. When you need assistance on something, please use the appropriate forum for the subject matter of your question.

I like the idea of a forum just for new members to get aquainted with PC Mechanic. I'll give it some thought in the near future.

I like the idea of a forum just for new members, new to the world of PC Mech's. where they can be help in specific matters and probably directed to the right forum without the agravation of some members! Perhaps that will help. I remember when I first started. Man oh man, some members were really mean to me. They don't called them noobs for nothing! besides we all have gone through that experience. But I have learn a lot, thanks to other members who were more compassionate and benevolant. Just my two cents
