disable submit button

I was on spywareinfo.com's forum the other day and noticed that when you post the submit button disables. I thought this might be a good thing to add to PCmech to stop the double posts.

that actually sounds like a pretty good idea. especially since when the site's slow it can be oh so tempting to hit that button again. lol.

Yeah - sometimes, I think the forums lags and it is tempting to hit it again. I would be interested in seeing that implemented.

I don't know if it's possible with VBulletin - but I'll bring it up when we do the next version upgrade.

We're on the verge of doing an upgrade to VB 3.0. This would require a bit of javascript on the submit page, the hardest part is finding the area where that code belongs. If glc doesn't talk to the devloper (Read: Owner) I will.

You could modefy the PHP code to disable the button. I don't know if this is allowed in the licence, however.
