PC Mechanic authors are needed!

Hey folks,

We are looking for a few good authors to write up some tech articles for the website. We have made requests within the PC Mechanic newsletter for authors and have gotten some good feedback. But for those of you who are not subscribed, well, we just wanted to spread the word here as well.

To keep PC Mechanic as up-to-date and cutting edge as possible, we need to keep great content flowing through. We have many great authors writing for us right now. It is through their hard work that PC Mechanic can continue to provide valuable information to website users. Also, it allows the website and the forums to grow, which can enrich the overall environment here at PC Mechanic.

Authors of articles recieved, which are both on topic and worthy of publication, will be compensated for thier work.

So if you want to make a little extra money and enjoy writing tech articles, e-mail us at editor@pcmech.com and we'll get some additional information over to you to reivew.

Thanks.....and happy computing!

What about web development news? Technically, it does pertain to computers and technology.

Well, I am not a tech but I AM a published author and enjoy writing VERY much.

Are we looking for PC knowledge or just someone to pen a few phrases?

PC knowledge. Thats what the users here want. However, you could write some humor type things for fun and we could create a little computer humor section, but we'd just have to goof around with that one.

I had talked to drisley about this before. I was going to do some articles, but a job change and a move took me away from the computer screen for quite a while. I would be interested again now thoug.

Hi bryris,
I would like to apply.

I'd like to think I know PC technology pretty well as I work in IT on a daily basis.

I can sometimes talk from the heart rather than the hole in my head called a mouth! I'll apologise right now......

What is the criteria?

What do you think?

PS: I don't want the money.......unless we start making millions that is

I certainly cannot add to the wealth of information that can be gathered from those much more knowledgeable than I, but just wanted to say "thank-you" to those that do write this information!

Also, since there is some numeration for the write ups, I'm just wondering without sponsoring, how is the website able to actually "pay" for such write ups? Great stuff...hope it continues, and again, we are thankful!

As for the fellow only being 15 yrs old, I've found many young folks with MUCH more knowledge on computers than many of us triple their age, so I hope they are welcome to send in their thoughts and write-ups, of course which may need to be edited, but worthy of many thanks from those of us using this site as well.
