Backing up HD
Hello all,
Looking for suggestions for software/tips in backing up the data and some apps from one HD to another. The apps I'm most concerned with are the ones I bought online and have upgraded since (would hate to lose on investment) Would be going from an 80GB HD to 120, both installed. Ideas please? |

I belive that the programs that you bought online were downloaded as a single file that you had to use to install the software,
that being the case, just copy-paste that same downloaded file with any key, username and password that is required for it to run , to another partition/folder or eved a cd for saving it. same with any data you need to save. that way you could just copy the file to the new location and reinstall it, should work fine that way. |
