Access 97 File Corruption

I know this is a long shot question but....

I have a front end/back end database in Access 97. The only thing that has changed is that the main office along with the servers moved from one building to another. I now am getting one or more of the files "not recognized as a MS access DB file" message from my users.

We boot eveyone off, repair, test and it works..... for a while...sometimes a very short while. IT is not helpful so far, though I have not made it past level one yet.

Anyone have a possible issue?

The DB's have been in production for well over a year, no changes have been made to it recently structurally, file size is well within max limits.

Signed,

Update

Well after running around in circles I was able to prove that the database is fine.

The problem is with the fifth floor of the building and it's network hardware. The building was stripped to the bare and rebuilt, but something is up with the hardware. I restricted use to everyone on the floor (management) and no problems for everyone else.

What a pain! Of course IT was convinced that it was a software issue.....
