please help. im having a weird problem with nero

i have nero express(don't know what vesion it is) and whenever i click on burn data, and i click on add and i click on a picture and i press ctrl and select the other pictures the mouse pointer would dissapear and the keyboard would stop working, so the only way is to press reset. so does anyone know what i can do

That should give you a window with the version number somewhere in it.

Instead of using add, just drag and drop (or copy and paste) from Windows Explorer into the compilation window. The add function in Express has always been very sluggish, it's best to select your files in Explorer.
